Membership terms

These terms cover EEE (Emergency Engagement Enterprises), operated by Jose Luis Reyna. They explain what your membership includes and how we charge for travel we book for you. Questions: info@eee911.com.

Your membership

• An individual membership costs $179 per year and covers one traveler.
• It renews automatically each year on the card you saved, unless you ask us to stop it before the renewal date.
• Membership fee refunds: we are finalizing this policy, and it will be stated here before membership opens.

What we do

When you contact us during a trip, we help arrange rides, hotels, flights and rental cars, give you access to documents you stored with us, and update your emergency contacts. We are not an emergency service, a travel insurer or a bank. In danger, call local emergency services first.

Paying for travel we book

• We only book after you approve the total amount. We record your approval with the time, the amount and the agent's name.
• The total is the supplier's price plus our service fee of 15% (at least $20) per booking.
• By saving a card, you authorize us to place a temporary hold for the approved total plus 15% (at least $20), and then to charge the final amount. Any part of the hold we don't use is released. If the booking fails, the whole hold is released.
• Holds expire after about 5 days, so a longer emergency may need a new hold for each booking.
• If your cards can't be charged, we may send a secure payment link to an emergency contact you allowed to approve spending.
• Prices from suppliers in other currencies are converted to US dollars.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

• Each booking follows the supplier's own change and cancellation rules, which we tell you before you approve.
• Cancelling a booking is not the same as a refund. When a supplier refunds us, we pass that refund on to you.

Your part

• Keep your emergency PIN and security answers private.
• Keep your contact details, cards and emergency contacts up to date.
• Only upload documents that belong to you.
